Sport
England
Dr.
Ian Brittan of Sport England is carrying out an
audit of sports provision in the greater Warwickshire
area – which includes Solihull District Council).
Dr. Brittan is looking to find out what people
with disabilities in the area would like to see
in terms of sporting provision and why people do
not currently take part.
The
Network invited Dr. Brittan to attend a Full Network
Meeting on 19th February, so there was a chance to exchange
views with him directly there.
If
you could not attend the meeting, you can contact the
Network, or write directly to Dr. Brittan at Greater
Warwickshire Sport, The University of Warwick, Westwood
Campus, Coventry, CV4 7AL.

The
Network was also invited to a workshop on 10th February

aim of this strategy is to increase significantly
levels of physical activity, through sport,
recreation, leisure and everyday life, particularly
among disadvantaged groups.
